  • One Knee

The one knee stance is probably the single most commonly used position paintballers play out of. Going down on one knee offers two distinct advantages. First, you can get play very close to the bunker, so it makes you a small target. Second, you can get out of this postion fast if you need to move.

While the one kneed approach is a strong position to play from, it does have a weakness; you can really only shoot effectively out of one side of the bunker. If you want to shoot out of the other side, you'll have to switch knees. If you want to shoot out both sides simultaneously, the two knee approach is probably a better bet. We'll go over that in a minute.

It is simple to get set up in the one knee stance. If you are shooting out the left side, kneel on your left knee. If you are shooting on the right side, kneel on your right knee. Keep you body tight to the bunker so nothing is sticking out and keep your head down and your elbows tucked in.
