WATCH YOUR ANGLES
After a successful opening break, you need to watch your angles. Opponents directly in front of you are not nearly as dangerous as those on your flanks. It can be very difficult to tag a player straight down the field from you, but it is a virtual walk in the park to tag a guy if you run up from the sides. Do not get overly concerned about trying to tag out opponents directly in front of you, it's a waste of ammo. You can't shoot them and they can't shoot you. Focus more on those who are at diagonal from you across the field.

There is one exception to this rule: If you can pin someone down in a weak position, then it is probably a good idea to hold the opponent down while your teammates take care of business.
Be aware that you will also be targeted by opponents who are using the same angles. To defend against getting hit, get up tight against the bunker. Some tournament rules allow marker hits to count as tags, so make sure your hopper isn't sticking out.
A good rule of thumb is to stay as close to the bunker as you can, however, there are a few times when you can break the rule. As you prepare to sprint to a new position, back away from the bunker slightly to give yourself a little room to see and make sure you are clear to move. If you're clear, lay down some cover fire and run like hell while your team keeps your opponents from applying a fresh coat of paint to your mask.
